Summary:

We are building our Kitchen Team for our family of brands and are currently searching for an energetic Oyster Shucker who will assist with the daily operations of the Curious Oyster team.

The restaurant is located in Nottingham, MD in the fun and vibrant White Marsh area. You will report to the General Manager.

  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Set up the raw bar with a variety of oysters and accompanying sauces
  • Shuck oysters during service behind the raw bar
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked raw bar station throughout service
  • Break down and clean up raw bar station

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Must have a passion for hospitality
  • Desire to excel beyond your position as a shucker
  • Positive attitude and ability to work scheduled hours
  • Motivated to work within a team environment
  • Hold your teammates accountable for high standards
  • Reliable transportation
  • Great communication skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing and moving around the restaurant at a fast pace
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each area at the restaurant’s facilities.
