White Oak Hospitality is currently looking for team members to join our Hospitality Group in and around Baltimore. White Oak Hospitality currently operates 5 restaurants in the Greater Baltimore Area with aspirations to expand into other markets in the near future.

White Oak Hospitality was recently ranked number 12 in the state for hospitality groups in terms of size. With aspirations to continue our growth strategy, White Oak is looking to make multiple hires in all of our current locations, as well as prepare for our opening of Banditos Bar & Kitchen on the Avenue in White Marsh this year. All positions are eligible for company 401k, with employer match, health insurance for those that qualify, paid sick time off and vacation time for those that qualify, discounts, incentive programs, and many more!

General Manager:

White Oak Hospitality is looking for a General Manager to spearhead the opening of our newest building, Banditos Bar and Kitchen.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the highest quality standards in the Hospitality Industry
  • Maintain profitability across Food, Liquor, Wine, Soft Beverage, Paper Products, and Labor in a high volume, high energy environment
  • Lead team members in, not only a professional way but a personal way to develop a crew that maintains standards through accountability and action
  • Maintain White Oak Hospitality Mission Statement and Brand Pillars at all time
  • Maintain standards of food excellence and safety in conjunction with current Covid-19 practices and post-pandemic regulations
  • Demonstrate the ability to grow in a company that will propel you to new feats in the Hospitality Industry

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of General Manager responsibilities
  • Experience with high-volume sales with a minimum of 2 million dollars per year gross sales
  • Ability to demonstrate cost control according to company standards
  • Proficient in Excel is a MUST
  • Experience leading a Kitchen operation is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Experience with inventory management systems is a MUST
  • Ability to delegate responsibilities when needed
  • Always inspect what you expect

Base Salary: 60,000/year with the opportunity to increase salary through bonuses tied to profitability in and around the building

Kitchen Manager:

White Oak Hospitality is looking for Kitchen Managers to join our team at an entry-level and executive-level for future operations. KM’s will lead their culinary teams through example and accountability, maintaining standards of excellence on and off the lines. Creativity is a must, and we are looking for the right person who can not only create but remain cost-effective while doing so. Almost limitless possibilities are at your fingertips to develop dishes that work at a brand-specific level.  A unique opportunity is in store for you to work with 3 unique culinary concepts, within walking distance of each other.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining White Oak Hospitality’s standards for excellence in food and guest experience
  • Demonstrate ability to maintain food cost and labor cost within company standards
  • Create dishes that are unique, yet approachable for our brands
  • Lead a team of young professionals in a way that they will aspire to be the next leader of our company

Requirements:

  • High volume, high-efficiency experience in a full-service kitchen with a minimum, 2 years of experience required
  • For the Curious Oyster/Wayward Smokehouse position, a cooking interview is necessary to demonstrate a passion for seafood with creativity in mind
  • Use tools specific to White Oak Hospitality to maintain levels of profitability and excellence
  • Continue relationships built by White Oak Hospitality as well as formulate your own relationships with current and new vendors where applicable
  • Dedication to the team over personal accolades and recognition. White Oak is seeking a team player who can elevate the company and the brands through hard work and accountability rather than one’s personal agenda

Base Salary: 55000-65000 based on experience and position desired. Opportunity to earn bonuses based on performance and profitability. Pay will also be graded based on a probation 90 day period.

Line Cooks:

White Oak Hospitality is currently looking for line cooks to staff their kitchens at The Curious Oyster, Wayward Smokehouse in White Marsh, Wayward Smokehouse in Federal Hill, and Banditos at the Avenue in White Marsh. Positions can be obtained at one and transfers are available when possible. While some restaurant groups may view the line cook as a disposable worker, White Oak Hospitality does not. At White Oak Hospitality we make investments in our staff. We know that if our staff is happy, they will always ensure guest satisfaction, which will create return customers, which will produce profits. We always put people before profits. White Oak Hospitality has a track record of developing passionate cooks into Kitchen Managers that create a career, instead of just working a job.

Responsibilities include:

  • Cooking and presenting food that maintains White Oak Hospitalities standard of excellence
  • Maintaining all equipment to the highest standards
  • Punctuality and precision in the kitchen
  • Producing consistent plating on a daily basis
  • Follow all health guidelines regarding hot and cold holding, sanitation, and proper cooking techniques

Base Salary: $15/ hour starting pay, with yearly increases based on performance. Higher starting pay may be available to those that possess exceptional skill and talent. Dedicated cooks who display exceptional talent and a penchant for success will be granted more responsibilities with opportunities for higher pay and promotions.

Bartenders: White Oak Hospitality is currently looking for Bartenders to work at 101 Baltimore, Banditos Federal Hill, and Wayward Smokehouse Federal Hill. At White Oak Hospitality, we don’t build bars, we build brands. White Oak Hospitality is currently looking for barbacks and busboys to work in all of our existing brands, as well as begin the application process for our new building, Banditos Bar & Kitchen on the Avenue in White Marsh slated to open in May of 2021. We are looking for young and energetic individuals who thrive in fast-paced and upbeat environments, and want to gain entry into the hospitality industry

Responsibilities:

  • Stock the bar before, during, and after service to provide support to the bar staff
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the bars and restaurants at all times
  • Follow White Oak Hospitality standards of cleanliness and sanitation in and around the building at all times
  • Provide safe and responsible service of food and alcohol in accordance with White Oak Hospitality and local jurisdiction’s guidelines

  • Work on your feet for extended periods of time with occasional heavy lifting
  • Hold yourself and peers accountable for their actions/inactions

Epic 40th Birthday Bash

White Oak Hospitality really brought it for my husband’s 40th birthday surprise party. We planned a luau theme for our guests and Jenifer Fedeli worked with us to create the perfect menu to match our special event. Our catering order was not made up entirely of things found on the menu. The chefs worked with our budget to create a flavorful array of Hawaiian inspired dishes for our guests and we received so many compliments on the food. Not only was the menu delicious, but Jenifer met us on location and set everything up from the buffet to the bar. She left plenty of extra items we would need to keep food hot, and serve ourselves. I highly recommend any of these restaurants for an awesome catering experience.
